Joe has now been at the forefront of professional music in this country since his first record release in 1959 and has always maintained a presence and a reputation as a great musician whether it might have been Rock ‘N’ Roll, Country, Gospel or the reworking of vintage classics, material dating back as early as the 1930’s, currently he is best known worldwide for his recording of I’ll See You In My Dreams as performed at the Royal Albert Hall to close The Concert For George (Harrison) his dear friend.

This recording has become a Spotify classic and has introduced Joe to a world-wide audience whilst also almost single-handedly putting the Ukulele on the map as a serious instrument.

Joe has been awarded an MBE for services to music and also the MOJO special Award for services to music and has been touring since those early days without a break, his shows have by word of mouth built and built across the decades to the current situation where they sell out without the need of an album or TV appearances to remind everyone of who he is or what a great live show he delivers.
